LTER-Europe is a network of national long-term ecosystem research and monitoring networks. It is the European contribution to the International Long Term Ecological Research Network (ILTER). LTER-Europe provides long-term environmental data, research infrastructures (sites, instrumentation, etc.) and expert researchers in natural sciences, sociology and economy. LTER-Europe is driven by institutions involved in ecological research across Europe.
