Model details

The models listed below are selected for their suitability to modelling ecosystems at terrestrial eLTER-sites. Since at these sites, different compartments of the terrestrial system are investigated and observed, such as soil, vegetation, groundwater and the lower atmosphere, most of the selected simulation models can simulate these terrestrial compartments in an integrated fashion. The land surface models are especially suited for this.
