12th EEF Congress

The European Ecological Federation cordially invites you to attend the 12th EEF Congress. It is hosted and organized by the Spanish Terrestrial Ecology Society (AEET) in collaboration with the Portuguese Ecological Society(SPECO). The motto of the Congress is “Responding to Rapid Environmental Change”, which highlights the work of the scientific ecological community to unravel the global change crisis and lead its mitigation

The scientific agenda will include a selection of keynote speakers from different European and American countries to provide exceptional overviews on hot ecological topics of broad interest, and numerous oral communications combined with posters to stimulate exchange of information and ideas on the many fields of ecological research, and conservation and restoration of challenged or degraded ecosystems

Drivers of pollinator loss in Europe.

Mobile links, ecosystem services and ecological footprint.

Interspecific interactions and ecosystem functions in real-world landscapes.

Impacts of climate change on the functioning of semiarid ecosystems.

Macroecology: “Species niches/Community Ecology”.

Conservation and restoration of Mediterranean habitats.

Environmental impact assessment and ecological restoration of natural habitats.

System of integrated assessement of protected areas (SEIAP).
