Aquatic sensor technology is developing rapidly, yet mechanisms and opportunities for limnologists and field biologists to receive training in these new technologies are limited. This workshop will address critical aspects of the sensor lifecyle, including:

  • Sensor selection, deployment and maintainance
  • Data logger configuration
  • Data telemetry and management
  • Project team assembly
  • Demonstrations of the latest aquatic sensor technology

Limited funds are available for travel and room/board costs of participants who register before the June 15th, 2011 deadline.
