Open Call for Access to ICTS-RBD: Doñana Biological Reserve (short stays of researchers in Doñana)
The Doñana Biological Reserve (RBD) in Spain was awarded in 2006 by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science as "Singular Technological and Scientific Infrastructure (ICTS-RBD)". Through the Spanish National Programme for Technological and Scientific Research Infrastructure and Equipment, the ICTS-RBD has obtained financing by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation to provide access to researchers from European Community, the European Economic Area and countries members of the Iberoamerican Programme of Science and Technology for the Development (CYTED) (http://www.cyted.org/cyted_informacion/es/objetivos.php). This programme allows to develop research projects at the RBD during 2009-2010.
The ICTS-RBD access programme has two modalities:
- Modalidad 1: For researchers doing his/her doctoral thesis. Estimated length of stay: 4 weeks per year.
- Modalidad 2: For researchers with Phd degree or with a minimum of three years of research experience. Estimated length of stay: 2 weeks per year.
The ICTS-RBD access programme is open in its first call until 22 August 2009. The proposals will be review by the External Committee of Access and the results of the selection will be notified during October 2009.
