PhDs: 2 PhD positions at SLU, Sweden
The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences is announcing two PhD student positions in ecology:
- Ref no 4628/2016 - On the response of European forest understorey vegetation to diffuse large scale drivers
The objective of the PhD project is to investigate small to large scale trends and patterns in Swedish and European forest vegetation development and dynamics following both local disturbances and large scale changes in deposition and climate. Closing date: 09 January 2017
- Ref no 4629/2016 - Effects of large-scale, climate-mediated oligotrophication on food webs of Arctic/Alpine lakes
The aim is to study how the food web structure and function in Arctic/Alpine lakes have been affected by large-scale environmental change that has resulted in a dramatic decline in total phosphorus concentrations. Closing date: 09 January 2017
