The BiodivERsa call for proposals
ALTER-Net is seeking for the partners for the BiodivERsa call for proposals on biodiversity dynamics (http://www.biodiversa.org/101). Please reply before December 13th!
The project will use long-term monitoring data and models to develop biodiversity scenarios, which link ecological and biogeochemical understanding so as to better predict resilience and possible tipping points in semi-natural environments. It will require long term vegetation, soil chemistry, climate and atmospheric data from a series of permanent forest monitoring plots. The project coordinators are seeking partners such long term data from their countries and/or modelling expertise.
The deadline for compulsory pre-registration is December 15. Coordinator needs replies at the latest on December 13.
That call is open only for the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Sweden and Turkey.
