ILTER Call for Research & Development ideas: Deadline extended

The International Long-Term Ecological Research Network (ILTER) has launched a call for ideas

⚫ Call deadline extended to 21 March!

As part its preparations for the ILTER Open Science Meeting (OSM; 9-13 October 2016, Kruger Nat. Park, S. Africa), the ILTER network has launched a call for ideas. The two-stage call for Research & Development ideas is aimed at Long-Term Ecosystem Research (LTER) teams across sites and countries interested in similar scientific topics and societal challenges, to initiate and broaden worldwide collaboration within the network.  The proposers of up to three excellent initiatives will be offered Travel Grants to participate in the ILTER Open Science Meeting 2016 (9-13 October) in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

The proposers will present their initiatives to the international community at the OSM with the suggestion to adopt them as formal scientific ILTER initiatives (decision to be made by the ILTER Co-ordinating Committee).
